Fall Sale on Etsy

There's a great website that has been around for some time now. It's called Etsy on Sale. It's where you can find links to a bunch of great Etsy shops that are running sales; in case that wasn't obvious by the name. This year I have joined that site. It's a fabulous way for a shop owner to run a more efficient sale. Currently sale scarves are ten dollars off. It's a great time to pick one up. This sale will end on October 5th.
Shop now.
If you don't see anything that jumps out at you in the store, have no fear. You can always contact me for a special order. Just go to the shop and click contact.
If you don't mind waiting to see what I have in store for this winter, I'll be posting new items as of October 16th.
Until that time I will be busy sewing new items. I did a bit of shopping this Summer. I did a bit of material shopping in Bali, and I am excited to share some new styles and prints.
Also, I will be at the Wiesbaden Spouse's and Civilian's Club Fall Bazaar. It is a four day event, so I'll need all the inventory I've got. If you're in the area please come see me. The event is from October 12th-14th. It's their biggest bazaar yet. I'm looking forward to it.

Etsy Sale

There is a website that has been around for a long while. It's called Etsy On Sale. It's a great place to look for deals on Etsy. Come this September I will be joining the site. For shoppers Etsy On Sale is the best way to save a buck. For sellers it is an easy way to list lots of items for sale, and get a bit of extra exposure.
There are a bunch of scarves in my shop from last season that didn't sell. To distinguish them from the new models I am discounting them. As of 9/7/2012, everything from last season will be $10.00 off.
If you want to get something before then just contact me through the Etsy Shop. I'm more than happy to offer the discount early. I will not be able to ship the item until 9/7/2012, however.
Thanks. Enjoy the rest of your Summer.

How Bazaar

Those Cheesie Word-Plays Never Get Old
and now that I have your attention...
I am excited to announce Florida Scarf's first Craft Bazaar in Europe!
I must admit that I'm on pins-and-needles to see how it goes. One might think it is a bit silly to sell scarves at the beginning of Spring. But I am mainly using this as an opportunity to meet my new community. Also, as anyone who's familiar knows, my scarves and hoods come in a variety of weights. Although it is so cold here now, it'll be July before we thaw out.
I invite everyone in my area to come and meet me. I invite everyone not in my area to wish me luck.
As usual I will be at the bazaar with scarves and hoods in a variety of colors and styles. They are still One Of A Kind. The pieces will be sold in a price range of $10-$55. There's something for everyone, including kids.
I think this is also an opportunity to give myself a headstart for next fall and winter. I'm offering a promotion for the bazaar in light of this.
Yay!

First Shipment Out of Germany

Congratulations to Ms. Jane "First Order Shipping From Germany" Doe. (I didn't get the customer's permission to use her name) I'm really excited for my first sale since the big move across the pond. I kinda thought it would never happen. I don't normally do an individual post about a single sale, but this one is special.
Going to the Post Office tomorrow is going to be another first for me. I hope it goes well. I'm fearing an impatient clerk at the counter who is perterbed by my horrible German skills and ignorance to the working of the German postal system. Although, I am doing my self a disservice by fretting already. So I'll stop. Luckily I am having lunch with a group of Germans and Americans from Post. Hopefully one of them can give me a run-down on how it works. Then I will be able to enter that new environment (where their color is yellow instead of blue) armed with knoweledge! I can't wait for the whole thing to work itself out perfectly.
Afterwards I may celebrate my browsing a local furniture store. It's an odd celebration, I know. But it is very neccessary. My sewing table is currently substituting as a computer desk. And since they are both of equal importance I can't have one. I need two. Go, Go Gadget Amex!
